Great Smoky Mt.s NP: Chemical Supply Purchase GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor, providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P5321Q0045. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-92 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror submitting a proposal which conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This requirement is set-aside for Total Small Business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19-502-2, and only qualified offeror's may submit a quote. The NAICS code is 325320 Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing and the size standard is 1,000 Employees. This solicitation will result in a contract within a period of (45) days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. The acquisition is in support to Supply Great Smoky Mountains NP, Natural Resources with chemicals to be used to control Invasive Forest Insects and Disease. NOTE: Each Contract Line Item: SHALL be award individually based on Lowest Price Technically acceptable. Please provide specification sheet on all products with quote. REQUIREMENT: Supply and Delivery Chemicals: Coretect Imidacloprid Tablets, Mallet packets, Imajet 5% Micro Injectable insecticide Delivery Requirements: Delivery hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, excluding federal holidays. Delivery tickets are required and must be signed by the NPS receiving official. Contractor shall notify the park 24 hours prior to delivery. Vehicle operators must adhere to weight limits and all posted traffic regulations while traveling on Park Roads. Trucks and equipment shall be in good operation and maintenance. Any leaks or spills need to be cleaned up immediately using a spill kit or absorbent material.
