FORA FIBER OPTICS- PROJECT SCOPE: The NPS is seeking qualified firms or organizations to provide the installation of underground fiber optic infrastructure between buildings to create a campus environment. This project will connect the Outer Banks Group Headquarters building (HQ) network room to network cabinets inside both the Fort Raleigh Maintenance Shop (FORA Shop) and the Museum Resources Center (MRC). The project includes all labor, supplies, materials, and testing necessary to create a fully functional fiber optic network between these three buildings. It is the responsibility of the contractor to provide fully functioning end to end network infrastructure (fiber optic patch panel to fiber optic patch panel) for each building within the campus. Acceptance of the completed work will be based on acceptable Bi-Directional OTDR testing that fall within specified limits. SET-ASIDE: This acquisition has been set-aside for small business concerns. Offers will be solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
