The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the cutting down, and removing of hazardous trees at the Carl Sandburg Historic Site, Flat Rock, NC, 28731. The proposed work includes dead-wooding (removal of dead and damaged limbs); take down of dead, severely damaged, or diseased trees; and the consequent removal of tree debris from the Park as called for in the attached tree list. Trees are numbered and located as described on the attached list. All trees proposed for work are flagged with ribbon. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial services contract based on the proposal that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Par 15, Negotiations and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement.
