The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the clearing scenic Vistas in Virginia on the Blue Ridge Parkway. These services include cutting trees, shrubs, brush, briars and vines within specified depths of designated vistas, along with some application of herbicide in specified areas, to provide vistas with clear and unobstructed views. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial services contract based on the proposal that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Par 15, Negotiations and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 561730 Landscaping Services, Size Standards in Millions of dollars $8M Period of Performance 8/15/2020 to 9/30/2021 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system.
