The National Park Service, (NPS), Blue Ridge Parkway is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation to install and repair guardrail sections. Project includes installing new steel-backed timber guardrail and terminals at milepost 407, replacing various damaged steel-backed timber guardrail sections, and placing and maintaining temporary traffic control. Location of project: Various locations on the Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the size standard is $39.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $25,000 to $100,000. Period of Performance 8/1/2020 to 11/30/2020 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote.
