Purpose of Amendment 0004 is to Provide response to vendor questions. The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Contraction project: Demolish Existing Restroom Facility and Replace with a Waterless Restroom Facility Sweet Smelling Toilet system (SST). The National Park Service (NPS) will be contracting work to demolish and dispose of a restroom facility, which includes the utilities and septic system. The facility is located on Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, which is administered by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. This action will be followed by providing and installing a new prefab SST in the same approximate location. This facility shares a parking lot with the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, located about 4 miles south of Oregon Inlet on the west side of NC Highway 12. The building is approx. 16 ft x 25 ft wooden building with wooden framing members. The building rests on a concrete slab. The slab measures approximately the same size as the building.
