The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a supply of locust rails AND locust posts::drop off/delivery at (2) different locations; Blue Ridge Parkway, 5580 Shulls Mill Rd, Blowing Rock, NC 28605 Wataugu Co.::AND:: Blue Ridge Parkway, 1184 Bellamy Creek Ln, Big Island VA 24526 Bedford Co; on the Blue Ridge Parkway. ALL correspondence and documents will reference # 140P5319Q0014 The NAICS code 321113 Sawmills and the size standard is 500 employees. NAICS code 321114 Wood Preservation and the size standard is 500 employees. NACIS code 321999 All Other Miscellaneous Wood Product Manufacturing and the size standard 500 employees. This solicitation will result in a contract with a period of (90) days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. Required Supply: The contractor shall provide all posts as specified and meet desired delivery times. This acquisition consists 11-foot locust rails and 7-foot locust posts. (2) Locations for delivery see specifications for exact details. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. Unit of issue is EACH. Unit prices quoted shall be per EA and include hauling and stockpiling or tailgate spreading of ordered materials as indicated below. This project is located in Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock NC, and Blue Ridge Parkway, Big Island VA. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system.
