Amendment #1: Extend the Request for Quote FROM 05/22/2019 TO: 06/05/2019 5 pm EST. The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for TDOT Class A, Grade D Base or NCDOT Aggregate Base Coarse (ABC) 1 inch gravel delivery to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park; stockpiled/ tailgate spread/delivery to multiple locations with in TN and NC. Commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation, and any subsequent award, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2009-1-1. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 - Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.212-5, contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, 52.219-4. This requirement is set-aside for Total Small Business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19-502-2, and only qualified offeror¿s may submit a quote. This solicitation will result in a contract with a period of (90) days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. Required Services: This acquisition consists of (20) Base items and (04) Bid Options. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. Unit of issue is ton. Unit prices quoted shall be per ton and include hauling and stockpiling or tailgate spreading of ordered materials as indicated in specifications. This project is located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park¿s Tennessee and North Carolina areas. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to provide gravel to multiple locations within the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
