FY22 NATR RIDGELAND CABIN STABILIZATION The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for the Natchez Trace Parkway. The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking an Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Contractor to develop all Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for repairs and foundation stabilization of the historic Ridgeland Information Cabin (Cabin) and roof replacement for the nearby non-historic pavilion located along the Natchez Trace Parkway (Parkway). In 2019, the NPS entered into a contract with Mills + Schnoering Architects, LLC to research and develop a Historic Structure Report (HSR) to document the Cabin and develop treatment recommendations. The HSR shall be provided to the Contractor and used as a guide during the planning and design process. It contains information on the Cabin¿s historical background and significance, physical description, architectural and structural condition assessments, preservation, treatment and use recommendations, floor plans, drawings, photographs, and copies of geotechnical reports per the statement of work. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $75,000 - $90,000. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages for Madison County, MS will apply. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541720. It is the contractor¿s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This Acquisition shall result in award of a firm fixed price contract expected to be awarded by mid-January 2022. Evaluation factors: The selection will be made by evaluating proposals based on cost, technical approach and relevant experience. See clause section for weighting of these three evaluation factors.
