FY21 JELA REPAINT CHALMETTE VC AND COMFORT STATION The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for Jean Lafitte National Park. It is the intent of this contract to thoroughly clean the exterior of both buildings, to include the roofs, perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance to the roof areas and exterior elements of both structures, their associated apparatuses, and to repaint all previously painted exterior features of both structures. This work to the Chalmette Visitor Center and Comfort Station is intended to protect and maintain the proper appearance of these park assets per the REVISED statement of work. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $55,000-$70,000. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages for St. Bernard Parish, LA will apply. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238320. It is the contractor¿s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This Acquisition shall result in award of a firm fixed price contract expected to be awarded by late-May 2021. Evaluation factors: The selection will be made by evaluating proposals based on cost, technical approach and relevant experience. See clause section for weighting of these three evaluation factors.
