FY21 JELA AV UPGRADE TO JELA FRENCH QUARTER VC The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement the Natchez Trace Parkway. The intent of this contract is to target the audiovisual needs of the French Quarter Visitor Center, repairing existing hardware and making technological updates where necessary due to outdated technology. This work will target three main areas within the visitor center, the theater area, the and the Louisiana Culture exhibits. Of these areas, the theater space is used on a daily basis to show the park video and is used as a site for presentations, both ranger-led and guest speakers. The antiquated system needs updating with new technology. The Louisiana Culture permanent exhibits, specifically the audio and visual components of the ¿New Orleans Music¿ and ¿Delta Dialects¿ exhibits need installation of new equipment, to include new touch screen displays mounted to the existing music exhibit kiosk, new Bright sign media playing units, and new phone receivers. The new technology on the inside needs to be hardwire updated to the audio components in the exterior carriageway to get those operational again as well. The result of this work will serve to modernize the existing hardware, making the exhibits operational again for the public per statement of work.
