BOAT LIFTS INSTALLATION OCEAN SPRINGS, MS Amendment 0001 is issued to respond to prospective bidder request for explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc.; and incorporate by attachment the Pre-bid Agenda and Site Visit Sign-In sheet The Gulf Islands National Seashore (GUIS) has a requirement for boat lift installation at two (2) "Government Boat Dock" slips 30' x 16' in Ocean Springs, MS. Magnitude of construction: 1. Specialty Trade Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to ensure a fully functional, and operational four piling lift mounted to existing pilings in designated slips. 2. Boat Lift: Two (2) Hi-Tide 12,000 lb. (min) Gear Drive, four-post, standard speed lifts with dual wired motors. Structural material: 6061-T6 marine-grade aluminum (recommended). Each lift is to include aluminum bunks, wireless remote controls, and a limit switch auto-stop system. 3. All hardware, cables and fasteners shall be marine grade stainless steel or SAE 316. 4. Sea Armor Package: Include corrosion resistant winders, nylon drive pipe covering and nylon guide poles. 5. Boat Lift Electrical Requirements: Run electrical and conduit from existing panel box to boat lifts panel box, for each lift. Use of expansion couplings when hooking up the power is recommended.
