The National Park Service seeks pricing and availability from residential or commercial painting contractors (insured and bonded) that possess a valid contracting license recognized in the State of Alabama. The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, and equipment for Surface Preparation and Application of Caulking, Sealants and two (2) coats of Specified paint to exterior surfaces of the Visitor Center (5747 SF), Comfort Station (568 SF) and Shelter (200 SF) at the Horseshoe Bend NMP. Approximately, 6,515 square feet of total surface are to be painted, which include, but not limited to, the Exterior Wall Surfaces, Overhang Surfaces, Trim, Doors and Superstructure. The park is located at 11288 Horseshoe Bend Rd in Daviston, Alabama (Tallapoosa County). All work will be performed under a single contract. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to assess the condition of the surfaces to be painted and to verify the size of the buildings.
