The National Park Service requires the complete repainting of a structural steel elevator shaft (approx. 270 vertical feet) and full replacement of deteriorated lift cables within a confined vertical shaft at Mammoth Cave National Park in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. Work includes environmental containment, shaft ventilation, SSPC-compliant surface preparation and epoxy painting, lift cable removal and installation per ANSI/NEII, and strict environmental controls to prevent cave contamination. The government will award a single Firm-Fixed Price contract using Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation. Performance and payment bonds at 100% of the contract price, along with a certificate of insurance, are required within 10 days of award. No budget amount or submission timeline is specified.
