THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations (ConOps) East, intends to issue a Solicitation to remove and dispose of the existing 500k btu boiler and install a same or equivalent outdoor rated boiler and necessary plumbing at the Visitor Center. The Contractor shall install an Energy Efficient boiler unit, piping, and electrical upgrades where necessary. The unit must come with a commercial industrial standard warranty. All testing and compliance will be done before completion. The installer will provide training for safe operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of the unit, a startup test shall be done for proper operation at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park Kennesaw, Georgia on or about January 06, 2025. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5125Q0002. The work of this contract will consist of providing all material, labor, and supervision for Equipment Replacement - Boiler Unit. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be set-aside for Small Business firms. The NAICS code is 333414. The small business standard is 500 employees. All interested offerors MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit will be scheduled for this action. Details will be provided with the solicitation. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of February. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Cobb County, Georgia will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on sam.gov (System for Award Management) on or about January 06, 2025. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
