THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations (ConOps) East, intends to issue a Solicitation to install a new fence and entrance gate to better secure the Lowndes Interpretive Center Maintenance Shop and add openers to the entrance and exit gates Lowndes, AL on or about April 29, 2024. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5124R0015. The work of this contract will consist of providing all material, labor, and supervision for Installing a new fence and entrance gate to better secure the Lowndes Interpretive Center Maintenance Shop and add openers to the entrance and exit gates. This project shall include the removal and proper disposal of existing fence and gate offsite for the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be set-aside for Small Business firms. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business standard is $19.0M. All interested offerors MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit will be scheduled for this action. Details will be provided with the solicitation. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the end of May. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Lowndes County, Alabama will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on sam.gov (System for Award Management) on or about April 29, 2024. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers.
