THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, East Contracting Office, intends to issue a Solicitation to perform Fiber Optic installation at three different locations within Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park on or about 17 December 2021 as SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5122R0005. The primary objectives of the project are: to supply all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, materials, transportation, planning, coordinating, and logistics to install 2-inch conduit at Emory Hwy to the parks visitor center, main trunk down the maintenance road, and install single mode fiber optic line from the visitor center to the maintenance shop using the conduit and pull boxes. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and other wiring installation contractors. The small business standard is $16.50M. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is scheduled for this action on 22 December 2021 at 1000(ET) at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park Visitors Center located at 1207 Emery Highway Macon, GA 31217. Attendance to the site visit is highly recommended. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be applied, and contractors are required to RSVP with the government point of contact for this requirement. Any questions must be received via email by 1700 on 14 January 2022 to Celinda_hicks@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of January 2022. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Bibb County, Georgia will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, lowest price technically acceptable. The solicitation will be posted on beta.SAM.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about 17 December 2021. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
