The purpose of this amendment is to change the NAICS to 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business standard is $16.5M. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, East Contracting Office, intends to issue a Solicitation to replace fire and intrusion alarms and install cameras at Cowpens National Battlefield in Gaffney, South Carolina on or about 25 January 2022 as SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5122Q0008. The primary objectives of the project are to replace the existing alarm systems, which have aged beyond their useful life cycle and are not compliant with NFPA and install an IP Network Video Recorder Camera System. The goal of this project is to provide an automatic fire detection system, and automatic intrusion detection system that is NFPA compliant and ensures adequate security and protection for both facilities. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business standard is $16.5M. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is scheduled for this action on 1 February 2022 at 0900(ET) at the Cowspen National Battlefield Admin Building located at 338 New Pleasant RD Gaffney SC 29341. Attendance to the site visit is highly recommended. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be applied, and contractors are required to RSVP with the government point of contact for this requirement. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of February 2022. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Cherokee County, South Carolina will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, technical and past performance when combined is more important than price. The solicitation will be posted on beta.SAM.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about 25 January 2022. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
