The Department of the Interior, The National Park Service NY MABO intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to replace the existing two (2) 2-ton air conditioning condensers and two (2) horizontal air handlers; replace and install two (2) programmable thermostats; install new condenser pads, whips, disconnects for each new condenser; replace and install new drain pans for both air handlers; provide all other ancillary hardware and accessories necessary for new A/C system; inspection and test that new A/C system is in complete working order within Building 20 of the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area.
