The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Frederick Law Olmsted NHS in Brookline, MA. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals to paint the Historic House and Offices and repair and improve the roof and water shedding systems at Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site. A detailed Statement of Work and specification will be provided with final solicitation documents. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P4321R0021. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued on or about 8/18/21 and will be posted to the U.S. government¿s website for contracting opportunities at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early September. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Norfolk County, Massachusetts will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238160 Roofing Contractors, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
