THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The work consists of providing all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the project entitled Visitor Center Renovation, John F. Kennedy National Historic Site, 83 Beals Street, Brookline, Massachusetts. The major elements of work include: all work within existing foundations, including exterior work associated with new mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems, modification of existing entrance door and all exterior work, including new stairs, wheelchair lift, paving alterations and drainage (drywell) systems. This resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The period of performance for this effort shall be approximately 365 days from the Notice to Proceed, if both the Base Line Item and Option 1 are Awarded. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. The Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal, using NAICS Code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction ($39.5M) THERE WILL BE A PREPROPOSAL SITE VISIT. The Solicitation documents will be issued on or about December 18, 2020, and will be posted on BETA.SAM (https://beta.sam.gov) This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until the issuance of the solicitation.
