The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a construction requirement at Cape Cod National Seashore in MA. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals for the conversion of a bedroom to a full bathroom on the second floor and the replacement of the existing heating system of the Maker House in Wellfleet, MA. Additionally, work at the Withus House Eastham, MA includes installation of new oak hardwood floors over all painted wood floors on the first and second floors of the house, along with the stair treads between floors. A detailed Statement of Work and specification will be provided with final solicitation documents. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P4321Q0009. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFQ) and its attachments will be issued on or about 2/10/21 and will be posted to the U.S. government contracting opportunity website at https://beta.sam.gov . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in late February. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Barnstable County, Massachusetts will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the size standard is $36.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
