The National Park Service, Interior Region 1- North Atlantic - Appalachian (IR1), New England Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue a Request for Quote, 140P4320Q0034 for a firm fixed priced construction contract, subject to the Davis-Bacon Act to furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or necessary for the project required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. ********** The work of this contract consists of construction services to regrade and rehabilitate 13.7 miles of existing gravel roads, including brushing, drainage and repairing surfaces; fill, and grade to drain two parking areas, 400 Square yards each; grade one turn-around, 600 square yards total; provide 100 cubic yards of gravel to be used in above work. ********** The NAICS code for this project is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the small business size standard is $39.5million. ********** The order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. ********** The location of the work is Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, Penobscot County, Maine. ********** Estimated Period of Performance: July 20, 2020 to September 30, 2020.********** Tentative date for issuing the Request for Quote is June 17, 2020. ********** Documents will be available for inspection without charge as attachments to the RFQ. ********** The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Contract Opportunities (FBO) webpage at the website https://beta.sam.gov/ using Keyword / Solicitation Number: 140P4320Q00034.
