PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, will be soliciting quotes for construction from firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This request for quote will be issued electronically, on or after January 30, 2020, on beta.sam.gov. The entire solicitation package with all attached documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF, Specifications and drawings will be available in Adobe PDF format through beta.sam.gov and FedConnect. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Title of Project: Safety Stabilization of Historic Cranes 63 and 65, Boston NHP, Boston MA PMIS No. BOST 163343 Description: This project will include emergency stabilization repairs to two historic cranes at the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston, MA This procurement is being offered as unrestricted, full and open competition. The NAICS code for this project is 237990 and the small business size standard is $39.5 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000 The contract duration is 60 calendar days following the notice to proceed. The anticipated solicitation issue date is January 31, 2020. Responses will be due approximately 15 days following the issuance of the solicitation, once posted. Proposal receipt date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time proposal documents are available. This pre-solicitation announcement does not constitute a solicitation. It is anticipated that a PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE/SITE VISIT will be scheduled to be held approximately one week after the solicitation is issued. Specific details regarding this meeting will be provided in the solicitation, once posted. Vendors can search for opportunities and award history on fbo.gov and FedConnect without registering. The Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) website has an Interested Vendors List and a Watchlist that you can add your company¿s interest to. Registering provides opportunity to receive notifications, which is a tool of convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Interested vendors and plan holders are required to visit either website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the synopsis or solicitation documents. In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
