Specific instructions on submitting your bid will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below. *** Proposed Solicitation Issue Date: Estimated on/about January 03, 2020. *** The NAICS Code for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5 million. *** Title of Project: Rehabilitate Visitor Center HVAC System LOWE 247568 *** Location: Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center, 246 Market Street, Lowell, MA 01852-1849. *** Description: The Work includes replacement of the HVAC system at the Visitor Center, including rooftop equipment, air handling equipment, and terminal units. Ductwork adjustments are included, along with associated electrical work. General construction includes modifications to doors and partitions, windows and louvers, and painting. The existing condition of all areas affected by the project activities will be documented in advance of the start of construction. All park property will be restored to pre-construction conditions unless otherwise agreed upon between the NPS and Construction Contractor in writing. *** Type of Procurement: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of a priced sealed bid.
