A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT June 15, 2023. Award is restricted to Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) in accordance with the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. 47) The National Park Service, Northeast Region, Philadelphia Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed priced construction contract, subject to the Davis-Bacon Act to furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or necessary for the project required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Replace the Wood Shingle Roofs and Miscellaneous Exterior Repairs of historic structures: This project will replace existing deteriorated cedar shingle roofs on four interconnected row house roofs. The scope includes replacement of roofing and cheek wall siding on dormers. New built-in gutters will be installed. Rain leaders will be tested and cleared if necessary to ensure proper drainage. The scope includes rear service wing roofs at 309 and 313-315. One false chimney at the 311-313 service wing is leaning and will be replaced. A missing shed roof over the 309 basement stairs will be replaced. Eroded mortar joints will be raked and repointed to match existing tooling. Exterior woodwork at roof level will be repainted to match the existing paint color. At the interior of Bishop White House, interior plaster and finishes will be repaired. Includes but not limited to the following: tear off existing roof and installation of new wood shingle roof, flashing, carpentry repairs, window repair, glazing, painting, plaster repair, and masonry repairs, Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. The SAM can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database. NAICS: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction the small business size standard is $45 million. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Far Part 15 and Part 36 The order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Location of Work: 309-321 Walnut Street, Independence National Historical Park Philadelphia, PA Contract performance period is 90 days from notice to proceed.
