The process involves sandblasting with a machine designed to contain the aggregate and prevent sand from getting into the air? Bluestone etching can be performed on site, if necessary. 2. Can you provide CAD file(s) of the 13 colonies etching? If possible, also provide the typeface used for the lettering? CAD files will be provided to the selected contractor after award. 3. What is NPS's desired timeline for this project? When does NPS want the work to be completed? Sol_140P4223R0004, #11 states the timeline for this project is within 120 days. 4. There is also a discrepancy between the length of the blocks. The illustration states 7 7/8 but the table chart states 4 7/8. Please verify which length is correct. Sheet L4 in the drawing set has a radius of the paving extents to be between 9'-3" & 20'-1". Based on this information the Illustration is correct at 7 7/8" and the length in the chart is a typo.

A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT May 8, 2023. The National Park Service, Northeast Region, Philadelphia Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed priced construction contract, subject to the Davis-Bacon Act to furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental to or necessary for the project required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. This project will rehabilitate the Benjamin Rush Garden, an integral feature in the colonial revival design of the First Bank block cultural landscape. It includes installing the Queen¿s Bicentennial Bell, now in storage, for public display. The Bell was a gift from Queen Elizabeth II commemorating the 200th anniversary of American independence. Specific features of the rehabilitation include: constructing the bell armature foundation and centerpiece (paving, vegetation, lighting); removing and replacing poor and dying vegetation (trees, boxwood, ivy); repairing the garden fountain. Depleted planting beds will be rescaled and built with new soil and plants. Wrought iron fencing and gates will be repaired and re-painted. Paths will be rebuilt to be accessible. An ADA ramp will be constructed to connect the two levels. New benches and waysides will be installed. Irrigation will be installed, and the drainage system will be replaced to ensure the long-term viability of the garden. The Garden has not been renovated since its installation in the 1960¿s, therefore it is not a previously awarded requirement. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. The SAM can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database. NAICS: 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a small business size standard of $45M. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Far Part 15 and Part 36 Total Small Business Set-Aside The order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
