GEWA Window Replacement at the Visitor Center and Interpretive Building This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) to construction firms having the capability to perform the work in accordance with Attachment 1 Statement of Work. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, supervision, and administrative task for completing the removal and replacement of existing windows. This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition, only small businesses will qualify for award. At the time of solicitation all responsible business concerns may submit proposal, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. All vendors should pre-register to save time, by logging onto the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site at http://www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this proposal is: 238350- Finish Carpentry Contractors with a size standard of $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Department of Labor wage rates for Westmoreland County, VA apply and are included as part of this solicitation package. The contract period of performance is expected to be 90 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. Insurance: A Certificate of Insurance will be required for this project.
