PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Replace Wood Shingle Roof at Hampton National Historic Site - Towson, MD. The work will include all construction, labor, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and travel necessary for the replacement of the wood shingle roof. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest price technically acceptable source selection process in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 238160 Roofing Contractors with a small business size standard of $16.5M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 120 calendar days from notice to proceed. SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has been scheduled for August 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
