PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Remove and replace the existing HVAC multi-zone air handling unit, electronic controls, coils, condensers, and other associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components associated with the HVAC system. The work of this contract includes all labor, materials, and equipment required to successfully complete the replacement of HVAC and Electrical systems and other repair work in accordance to attached specifications and drawings. Contractor shall have experience in working with historic structures and conforming to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. The Contractor must be skilled and experienced in installation HVAC and Electrical systems in historic structures. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the lowest price technically acceptable process in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 -- Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive Total Small Business set-aside acquisition. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business size standard of $16.5M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 90 calendar days from notice to proceed. SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 16th at 9:30 AM.
