PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Rehabilitate State Line Fence, Assateague Island National Seashore - Maryland. The work will include all construction, labor, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and travel necessary for the partial demolition and reconstruction of the Maryland/Virginia State Line Fence. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest price technically acceptable source selection process in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a small business size standard of $39.5M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 90 calendar days from notice to proceed. SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 23rd at 10:00 AM ET. Participants will meet at: Park Headquarters at 7206 National Seashore Lane, Berlin, MD 21811 Please note: The site visit is at a remote location. 4-wheel drive (not all-wheel drive) vehicles will be required. The park may be able to provide transportation in a Park vehicle, but due to COVID-19 we cannot commit to providing transportation. If you require transportation please contact Eric Sherry. The convoy will need to leave headquarters promptly at 10:00AM. The site visit will take approximately 4 hours to complete factoring in the drive time.
