The location of the project is Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia, PA. All benches are located within Washington Square, Independence Square and Blocks 1 & 2 of Independence Mall within complex developed areas with a high volume of pedestrians and vehicles occupying a dense built environment of historic and non- historic structures, utility infrastructures, and public landscape. Locations are within the blocks bounded by South 6th Street to the east; S. Washington Square to the south; W. Washington Square to the west, and Walnut Street to the north (Washington Square) and the blocks bounded by North/South 5th Street to the east; Walnut Street to the south; North/South 6th Street to the west, and Arch Street to the north (Independence Square and Mall). The work will include all construction, labor, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and travel necessary to remove the existing benches and furnish/ install the new benches. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) after an evaluation is conducted in accordance with the FAR 15.101-2 -- Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive HUBZone set-aside acquisition. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 238140 Masonry Contractors with a small business size standard of $16.5M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
