The National Park Service, Department of Interior, will be soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This is a PRESOLICITATION notice only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. Specific instructions for submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after March 24, 2021, on Beta Sam (beta.sam.gov). Search by referencing the solicitation number (140P4221R0008). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the anticipate solicitation. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issues and telephone requests or fax request for this solicitation will not be accepted. Project Description: Repair and Restore Roof at 408 Locust Street at Independence National Historical Park Philadelphia, PA. The work of this requirement consist of the general construction to repair and/or replace the standing and flat seam metal roofs and to carry out repairs to the wood cornice, eaves, dormers, and other exterior woodwork associated with the roods and limited repairs to the exterior masonry of 408 Locust Street. The work includes, but is not limited to, all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision; and performing all operations required to complete the project. The project is located at: 408 Locust St. Independence National Historical Park Philadelphia, PA 19106 Procurement Type: The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract to the responsible, responsive, contractor submitting the proposal that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. Set-Aside: This is a competitive total small business set-aside limited to small business firms. At the time of solicitation all responsible business concerns may submit proposal, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors should pre-register to save time, by logging onto the System for Award Management (SAM) at the Internet site at http://www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this proposal is: 238160 with a small business size standard of $16.5 million Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance: 90 calendar days from notice to proceed. Site Visit: It is anticipated that a site visit will be scheduled sometime during the solicitation.
