The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Interior Region 1, North Atlantic-Appalachian intends to issue a Request for Proposal for the following project: Rehabilitate First Bank Windows, Sills and Trims. The work includes all labor materials, bonds and insurance to successfully complete the rehabilitation of the First Bank wood windows, sills, trim and aluminum interior storm windows. The work consists of repainting, re-glazing, and repairing windows; cleaning, repairing, and replacing missing storm window components; repairing and repainting wood window trim and sills; and replacing backer rod and sealant around the perimeter of the windows where the trim interfaces with the brick and stone. All work performed shall be within compliance of the Contract Specifications and Drawings. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process in accordance with FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net on or about June 24, 2020. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package, you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM, System for Award Management, in order to receive contract awards. This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition; only small businesses will qualify for award. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220-Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors with a small business size standard of $39.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee will be required with the Solicitation; Payment and Performance Bonds will be required within 10 days of award.
