The National Park Service, Department of Interior, will be soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This is a PRESOLICITATION notice only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. Specific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after April 30, 2020, on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) and FedConnect.net. Search by referencing the solicitation number (140P4220R0013). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the anticipate solicitation. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issues and telephone requests or fax request for this solicitation will not be accepted. Project Description: Restriping of Skyline Drive between milepost 5 and milepost 23.4 The project is in the North District of Shenandoah National Park between US Highway 340 and US Highway 211. Procurement Type: The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract to the responsible, responsive, contractor submitting the proposal that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. Set-Aside: This requirement will be solicited as full and open competition with no set-aside. At the time of solicitation all responsible business concerns may submit proposal, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors should pre-register to save time, by logging onto the System for Award Management (SAM) at the Internet site at http://www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this proposal is: 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a small business size standard of $39.5 million Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance: 120 calendar days from notice to proceed Site Visit: It is anticipated that a site visit will be scheduled sometime during the solicitation.
