Amendment 0002 - posting questions and answers. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: UPGRADE HEATING SYSTEM IN STAR FORT - National Park Service, Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine (FOMC). The work will include all construction, labor, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and travel necessary to replace four (4) boilers, including the removal and replacement of pumps, valves, and accessories in four buildings within the Star Fort. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible, responsive contractor submitting the low price technically acceptable offer in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive total small business set-aside acquisition limited to small business firms. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business size standard of $15M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 90 calendar days from notice to proceed. SITE VISIT: August 8, 2019 at 9:30 AM ET. See Section L, Clause 52.236-27, for additional information. You are required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in SAM, System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government.
