The National Park Service, National Capital Region, National Mall and Memorial Parks requires a contract for preventative maintenance and repair services of hydraulic bollards and a portable barrier. Two (2) sets of two (2) hydraulic bollards and one (1) set of two (2) manually operated bollards were installed at the Washington Monument (WAMO) grounds in 2004 for security protection of the Monument. In addition, there are two (2) sets of three (3) and two (2) sets of two (2) hydraulic bollards located at the Lincoln Memorial (LIME) and one (1) set of two (2) at the Martin Luther King Memorial (MLK). These are operated by hydraulic pumps located under the bollards. These bollards provide access to vehicles in case of emergencies and maintenance vehicles needing access to the Monument. There is also one NMSB XV Mobile Barrier M30 (K4) portable barrier plate located at the Jefferson Memorial. The hydraulic bollards and the NMSB XV portable barrier were manufactured and installed by Nasatka Barrier, Inc. This contract will be a Single-Award Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract with an ordering period of five (5) years.
