Purchase and Delivery of 800 Locust Worm Fence Rails- Manassas National Battlefield- National Park Service PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY National Park Service Region 1 ¿ National Capital Area West Major Acquisition Buying Office 1100 Ohio Dr. S.W. Washington, DC 20242 Date: 02/07/2022 Subject: Purchase and Delivery of 800 Virginia Worm Rails ¿ Manassas National Battlefield- Manassas, VA This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a solicitation. Accordingly, no response is due at this time, nor will any questions of a technical or contractual nature be answered. Specific instructions on submitting responses will be contained in solicitation documents. A date and time for a site visit will be specified in the solicitation. A firm fixed priced purchase order is anticipated. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business as authorized by FAR 19.502-2(b). The contractor shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) under the appropriate NAICS code: 321113 ; the size standard is 500 and shall submit verification of their firm¿s registration in the SAM database with their quote. The location where services will be delivered: Manassas National Battlefield 6750 Sudley Road Manassas, VA 20109 The Service Contract Act wage determinations for Prince William County, Virginia DO NOT apply. This requirement will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under FAR Part 13. The RFQ will result in a single firm fixed-price award from the terms and conditions set forth in the solicitation once it is released. The solicitation package and documents WILL NOT be provided in paper hard copy format, but rather transmitted exclusively via www.beta.sam.gov. The solicitation, subsequent to this announcement, may be canceled at any time. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any quote preparation costs. The complete solicitation with attachments will be posted on or about March 24, 2022. This date is an estimate. The solicitation could be posted well after March 24, 2022. Description of Services: The contractor shall furnish and be responsible for all labor, supervision, materials, tools, supplies, signs, traffic control measures, transportation, license, certificates, permits, personal protection equipment, and equipment incidental to and necessary to perform land clearing operations at multiple locations of Manassas National Battlefield. Manassas Nation Battlefield is soliciting quotes for single contractor that is capable of furnishing and delivering 800 Virginia Worm Rails. The worm rails MUST be Black Locust, be de-barked and hand or ¿approved¿ machine split. No wood species substitutions are authorized. The long edges of the worm rails shall not be sawn. Rails must arrive in bundles of no more than 25 rails per bundle. Rail dimensions must be 11 feet in length, no less than 4.5 inches in diameter and no more than 6 inches in diameter. Additional details will be available upon official solicitation posting. Delivery of these Worm Rails must be made to 6750 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. The delivery date will be no later than 90 days after Purchase Order award.
