The National Park Service, Historic Preservation Training Center, 4801A Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD, 21704, is soliciting proposals for all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to provide removal, transportation to and from the Contractors' workshop, paint stripping, cleaning, metal repairs, surface preparation and painting of historical fence panels, vehicle and pedestrian gates, and reinstallation of historical fence panels and gates. Place of performance will be the Soldiers' and Airmen's Home National Cemetery, 21 Harewood Rd NW, Washington, DC 20011. The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238190, Decorative Steel and Wrought Iron Work Installation, with a Size Standard of $19 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 5660 Fencing, Fences, Gates and Components. The estimated construction range for this project is between $50,000 and $150,000. The Period of Performance will be 60 days after notice to proceed. The solicitation package will be posted to SAM.gov on approximately June 2, 2023. The package will include the solicitation form (SF1442), Statement of Work and other attachments as required. An electronic copy of the offeror's quote must be submitted to the email address identified in the solicitation package, on or before 2:00 pm Pacific Time on July 2, 2023. No hard copy or faxed proposals will be accepted. A preproposal site visit is tentatively scheduled for June 15, 2023. The issued solicitation shall be checked to verify the final date, time and meeting location. All work shall be done under a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The Government anticipates award of the Contract on or before August 1, 2023. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. The SAM can be found at https://www.sam.gov. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
