This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. Solicitation Number 140P2119R0044 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for dimensionally cut Indiana Limestone that will match the size specifications and profiles of the current West Wing parapet walls for a historically significant structure located in downtown Washington, DC. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2019-03. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 212311. The Solicitation is a total Small Business Set-Aside, Size Standard 500 Employees. The project site is a historically significant structure in downtown Washington, D.C. Construction of the main block finished in 1800. In 1902 a temporary office structure constructed on the site of the greenhouse became the West Wing. Independently and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide dimensionally cut Indiana Limestone, that will match the size specifications and profiles of the current limestone West Wing parapet walls.
