The work of thi... BITH 244484, Bridge Abutment Repairs. The purpose of this amendment is answering questions in regard to the solicitation. The due date hereby remains the same as posted in Amendment 1. The work of this solicitation is for the construction of Big Thicket National Preserve to repair damages to two pedestrian bridges. Project Location: Big Thicket National Preserve, Kountze, TX. The project includes (but is not limited to); repairs to eroded creek soils adjacent to and underneath the bridges, site grading, repair of timber, retaining walls, installation of rivet mattresses, installation of riprap and geotextile fabric, new gabion walls, new helical piles for support of the existing bridge structure, seeding, final grading and associated site work.
