INDE-236306/310912/310913 - Replace Chiller Plants/Cooling Towers, Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia, PA ¿ 140P2021R0069. The National Park Service has an upcoming requirement consisting of the following components: (1) INDE 236306 - Replace Critical Components - Chillers Number One & Two: This project will remove and replace two centrifugal chillers and their associated controls, pumps, valves, and actuators. Chillers #1 and #2 are 500-ton units installed when the park's central chiller plant was constructed in 1999 and are beyond their useful life. (2) INDE 310912 - Replace Failing Chiller #3 and Cooling Tower #3 at Central Chilled Water Plant: This project will replace one 2005 vintage 500-ton water cooled centrifugal chiller, and one 2005 vintage 500-ton forced draft cooling tower. (3) INDE 310913 - Replace Two Failing Cooling Towers at Central Chilled Water Plant: This project will replace two 1999 vintage 500-ton forced draft cooling towers with two new 750-ton induced draft cooling towers at the Central Chilled Water Plant. It remains essential that the park's central chiller plant remains in continuous operation. Chilled water from the plant must be available year-round to control temperatures and humidity in the park's most critical buildings. Project will be located at Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. This is a pre-solicitation announcement, not a formal solicitation.
