This Amendment No. 001 changes the NAICs code to 236116 New Multifamily Housing Construction. The Amendment also lowers the bonding requirement from $5M to $4M. The National Park Service has a requirement for the following project. If you are interested, please submit your detailed capabilities in WRITING to demonstrate same or similar experience. This is not a request for proposal or invitation to bid. No proposal package, solicitation, specification or drawings are available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow-up information requests. If you choose to submit a package, clearly identify the park and project on your package YELL 242116A and identify your socioeconomic status (8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, WOSB, EDWOSB, and Small). Your email capability information MUST be 6 pages or less and be SPECIFIC to the scope provided. You must also provide a letter from your bonding company verifying your bonding levels. Your response is due no later than 8:00 am Mountain Time on July 9, 2019. The Government anticipates conducting a small business set aside competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a competitive set-aside or full and open competition (the size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.-see 13 CFR 121.108.) Misrepresentation of size status can result in penalties. All firms should be registered and certified in www.SAM.gov. Yellowstone National Park Park County Wyoming Yellowstone National Park Lake 8-plex housing NAICS Code: 236116 Estimated Cost Range: $1 million - $5 million Estimated Period of Performance: October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2019 Project Description The purpose of this project is the construction of on-site built or pre-manufactured (at Contractor's option) eight-plex housing unit. Work includes, but is not limited to: clearing and grubbing, the clearing of shown utility and driveway access routes, sewer and water utilities, gas, electrical and communication systems, rough and final grading, final topsoil placement and other ancillary work required to complete the project. The eight-plex housing unit shall be located at the Lake NPS Residential Area of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming (elevation 7,895 feet). Depending on weather conditions, the main park roads are open to the public and accessible by wheeled vehicles from approximately May 1st, through the summer months, until approximately November 1st. Contractors shall be responsible for supplying adequate living quarters for all employees. No construction camps are permitted within the Park. Contractor living quarters shall be located outside the Park. The nearest communities outside the park are approximately 70 miles away at Cody, WY, 60 miles away at Gardiner, MT, and 55 miles away at West Yellowstone, MT. ****Firms interested in the project should possess the following specialized skills and experience and address these specialized skills and experience in their responses to this Notice. 1) Experience in the construction of similar multiplex housing either on-site built or pre-manufactured that includes clearing and grubbing, the clearing of shown utility and driveway access routes, sewer and water utilities, gas, electrical and communication systems, final landscaping. 2) Experience working in a similar environment, including: a. Responsibility for the protection of cultural and natural resources b. Experience working in remote area where material deliveries and worker commutes are difficult. Bonding Capability Interested firms MUST provide a letter from their bonding company to confirm their bonding capacity in an amount not less than $4M.
