The contractor shall perform work related to seed increase in a high elevation environment (> 6,000') similar to Mesa Verde National Park (MEVE), Yellowstone (YELL) and Yosemite National Park (YOSE) where the original plant accessions originate. MEVE, YELL, and YOSE genetic sourced seed is needed for utilization in the recovery of disturbed areas as a result of roadside rehabilitation efforts taking place at these parks. The contractor will be requested to perform the following tasks: establishment and harvesting of seed from NPS genetic stocks; cleaning, testing and storing native seed; and delivery of propagated seed.
