SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY): The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. Prime contractors interested in working at Navajo National Monument the work will consist of: Removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks and aprons at 3 residential houses. The contractor will be responsible for demo and replacement of approx. 204 square feet (sqft) of concrete per home. The work consist of approximately 94¿ sqft by 4¿ inches (in) in depth of sidewalk and 98¿ (sqft) by 6¿ inches (in) in depth of concrete driveway apron. The concrete will be reenforced with #4 rebar set at 2¿ foot (ft) on center and fiber with dowels to existing concrete and asphalt. The concrete will be colored, and texture will be medium. The basecourse will be 6¿ (in) layer of ½¿ in minus ABS road base compacted to 95% compaction. All demo concrete will be removed by contractor. Construction limits to project will be 1¿ foot (ft) around project. We anticipate that work would begin in late April/early May 2025. The NAICS code for this project is 238110, Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors, with a small business size standard of $19.0M. The Magnitude of Construction anticipated is less than $25,000. Contractor must be registered as a small business under the listed socio-economic categories in SAM (System for Award Management) under NAICS code 238110 to be considered/confirmed. Overview: This project will include complete removal and replacement of concrete at the NAVA House Traffic Surface and Apron Concrete Replacement Project, include all reasonable and necessary labor, supervision, testing, equipment and supplies. All specifications documents/drawings will be provided if/when the government proceeds with a formal solicitation. Interested firms must submit the attached Market Research Sources Sought Survey. This market research is being conducted to acquire additional information about potential contractors that may be interested in performing this work. This is not a request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation.
