The original solicitation did not mention this, so we were assuming that contractor attendance at the public meetings would not be required. Answer: The contractor is not required to attend in person. Does the period of performance end November 4, 2022 or one year from the date of award? Answer: The period of performance end date is November 4, 2022. Question: The SOW mentions public scoping meetings and public meetings. Would public meetings be held during the scoping period and also during the review of the EA? If so, would one meeting be held during each comment/review period? Would the meetings be held in person or done virtually? Answer: Two public, in-person meetings, one during scoping and one during EA review. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P1422Q0022. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
