Guardrail Repair & Install, Yellowstone National Park GENERAL: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 6, 7 & 8, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office (NR MABO), is soliciting for guardrail repair and install in Yellowstone National Park. PROJECT SCOPE AND LOCATIONS: The intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award the service of installing and repairing barricades, lights, danger signals, and warning signs in accordance with current Manual Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Part IV, latest edition and Standard Specification for Construction of Road and Bridges on Federal Highways Projects (FP-14), Section 635 in Yellowstone National Park. This is a construction requirement in accordance with the definition of FAR 2.101: Construction means construction, alteration, or repair (including dredging, excavating, and painting) of buildings, structures, or other real property. For purposes of this definition, the terms buildings, structures, or other real property include, but are not limited to, improvements of all types, such as bridges, dams, plants, highways, parkways, streets, subways, tunnels, sewers, mains, power lines, cemeteries, pumping stations, railways, airport facilities, terminals, docks, piers, wharves, ways, lighthouses, buoys, jetties, breakwaters, levees, canals, and channels. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The estimated period of performance for this requirement is August 15, 2021 to November 1, 2021 ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 SET ASIDE: This acquisition has been set aside for Small Business. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. TENTATIVE DATES: The RFP is anticipated to be issued on or about May 19, 2021 (subject to change) and will be open for a period of 30 days. The Request for Proposal will be posted to beta.sam.gov. The RFP and all attachments will be available for download at www.beta.sam.gov search for 140P1421R0005. NO HARD COPY DOCUMENTS WILL BE ISSUED.
