The maximum value quantity of this contract is 35,000 tons including options. The minimum guarantee quantity is 500 tons that will satisfy the minimum quantity to be ordered on this contract including options.

Synopsis: This sources sought, in accordance with FAR Part 10, is to conduct Market Research on Industry’s Capabilities in providing Shoulder Material for the Department of Interior, National Park Service, at Yellowstone National Park. Scope: The contractor shall supply and/or deliver cover material shall meet the requirements of the following table of gradations as determined by Montana specification: 701.02.9. Furnish Aggregate for CTB: including added blending material in accordance with Table 701-13 graduation requirements. Copies of the referenced Montana Specifications may be obtained from the Montana Department of Highways, Highway Building, Helena, MT 59620. NAICS Code - The proposed NAICS Code for this action is 212321 – Construction sand and gravel mining with a size standard of 500 employees. How to Respond This is a Sources Sought ONLY. The synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided other then market research. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a), or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate based on the responses for this notice. The Government anticipates awarding a minimum of one (1) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity firm-fixed price construction contract. However, the Government reserves the right to award more than one contract as it deems necessary. The total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed three (3) calendar years. Task Orders may range from $2,500 to $75,000.00. The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a competitive set-aside or full and open competition (the size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.-see 13 CFR 121.108.)
