Amistad National Recreation Area - Supply and Install Courtesy/Mooring Dock Description: The National Park Service located at 10477 Hwy 90W, Del Rio, Texas has requirement for a courtesy dock as described in the following specifications. The successful vendor will deliver, assemble and deploy dock to Amistad National Recreation Area. A courtesy dock will be purchased by the National Park Service (NPS) for use by all ages an ability levels including the physically challenged. The new dock must be made to the following specifications and dimensions, per the attached scope of work. Engineer Approval- The dock system shall be designed and approved by a licensed engineer and fabricated by a dock manufacturer is in the business of design and fabrication of dock systems. Overall Dimensions The new floating dock shall consist of: (1) 8 feet x 200 feet dock (2) 4 feet x 20 feet gangway to access the dock from land Description of Materials Galvanized steel frame 12 inch deep box truss design with main structural side chords and ends fabricated from 2 inch x 2 inch x 3/16 angle to create 100% full load transfer. Main structure frame members shall be a minimum of 2 inch x 2 inch x 3/16 inch angle Bolted connections in horizontal plane for added strength for wave movement.
