This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for road base "UDOT Standard Specification 02721 Untreated Base Course" prepared in accordance with FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside with a solicitation number of 140L5723Q0073. This requirement is for providing road base to the locations listed in the Statement of Work. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 212321 - Construction Sand and Gravel Mining with an Industry Size Standard of 500 employees. The Government contemplates award of a single, firm fixed price contract using "ALL or NONE" basis to the offeror who is determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9 and whose material is technically acceptable, price is lowest, and is considered fair and reasonable. This contract will include a base bid of 1000 tons with an optional bid item for up to an additional 500 tons. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The Color Country District BLM office requires this road base to surface and fill the Temp'po'op Trail. BASIS FOR AWARD: This will be a Small Business set-aside Award. This will be awarded a under Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract structed with a Lowest Price Technically acceptable (LPTA) selection process. NOTICE: In the event of a Government Shutdown submission due dates will be the first day of business upon re-opening of normal Government operations.
